OpenStreetMap is more than “Wikipedia of maps”. A queer trans OSMer and will explain how us queer feminists can see the good, bad & beautiful parts of OSM.

“The future is already here - it's just not evenly mapped”. OpenStreetMap is not a map, but a geographic database. But who decides what can be mapped, and how it is represented? How can you map what you want? How does OSM work? This talk, from a long time queer trans OSMer will try to explain the technical & more importantly social rules for how, and what can be mapped in OSM. and the good, bad and beautiful parts of OSM for queer feminists hackers like us.
