How eth.link exposed the technical and governance shortcomings of Web 3.0

This talk is a true story about how the allegedly "decentralized" web 3.0 briefly came under the complete control of its arch-nemesis, Godaddy.

We'll start by covering the basics of how DNS works technically and, more important, politically (ICANN). We'll then proceed to an introduction to IPFS and how the Etherum Name Service (ENS) implements it.

The rest of the talk will be explore what happens when theory meets reality, and show some major weaknesses in web 3.0's technical infrastructure and how Godaddy exploited it.
