DESCRIPTION:Queer tango reimagines Argentine tango as an inclusive practice
  where everyone is welcome to dance regardless of gender\, sexuality\, bod
 y\, age\, or experience. By challenging the heteronormative traditions and
  fixed roles of tango\, it creates a welcoming space to explore new ways o
 f moving and connecting\, fostering community and celebrating queer joy. I
 n this introductory workshop\, we will explore the basic principles of mov
 ement\, as well as connection with our partners\, the music\, and the danc
 ers around us. \n\nThe workshop will last 1 hour followed by 30 minutes of
  free dancing. It can accommodate any number of participants depending on 
 the available room size. No partner\, special shoes\, or prior dance exper
 ience are required.
