Jamie-Lee Campbell promovierte im Bereich Organisationspsychologie zum Thema Korruption in Organisationen. In ihrer Freizeit beschäftigt sie sich u.A. mit Science Fiction, ist Teil der Jury zur Fantastik Bestenliste (die monatliche Tipps für gute fantastische deutschsprachige Literatur herausgeben) und schreibt Essays über verschiedene Themen. Ihre aktuellen hot-shit Buchtipps für Cyberpunk sind: ("Womb City" by Tlotlo Tsamaase in Englisch) und Reda El Arbi "[Empfindungsfähig]" und die Fortsetzung aus 2025 "Asimovs Kindergarten").
