Mesh networks have the property of being decentralized, self-healing and hard to censor. But so far, these have been limited to small islands. Larger networks are held together by central servers. "Mesh the Plant" is intended to be an open exchange/discussion on community mesh networks (e.g. Freifunk, LibreMesh) and technologies such as batman-adv, Babel, OLSR, Yggdrasil, etc. be.
